The Pillar…

Tatana Roots was set up in 2009. After thinking endlessly on what the name should be (mind you I went from  dolphin in Maori, to forest in sanskrit), when an amazing soul suggested – Why don’t you go back to your roots and get inspiration from there….

That got me thinking… I am an Indian + Dusun Tatana (an indigenous tribe in Sabah) …. The word Tatana is full of character and it potrays strength… Roots … put the two together, creates an unexplainable surge of mystical energy.. I like that… so Tatana Roots was born…

Tatana Roots gives me the opportunity to do what I love most, as the tagline goes  ‘Where Nature and People Meet’ ~ simply potrays my passion in working closely with people from all walks of life (especially children!) and sharing knowledge on mother nature and how we all play an important role in making sure it lives forever….

With God’s grace, I hope to carry on doing projects that will benefit the people and environment. Truly, without the support of the people close to my heart, it would have been a tough journey… Thank YOU!

For the People & the Earth,

Suzane M.Samy

In my hands, I know you will live on… In my laughter, I know I will keep the birds chirping, the flowers blooming, the sun shinning and the rain trickling….                                                                                                     – Sz –
